Our founders bring more than 60 years of combined experience as licensed healthcare professionals and have provided hands-on care for their own elderly and disabled family members. The Care Partner Role

As a Care Partner at Retro LifeCare, you will provide in-home care to elderly and disabled adults across extended, meaningful engagements. This is not a high-volume, task-to-task position. Our clients receive consistent, relationship-based care, and our Care Partners are expected to take full ownership of their assignments.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders and basic health monitoring
• Companionship and cognitive engagement
• Accurate, timely documentation of care provided
• Clear communication with our office regarding any changes in client condition

Qualifications

Required:

• Over the age of 18
• Able to pass a level 2 background check (https://info.flclearinghouse.com)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance
• A professional, "CAN DO" work ethic and a big, compassionate heart

Preferred:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, assisted living, or a clinical setting

Health Science/Nursing students are also encouraged to apply.
