Overview
As an Equity Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating investment opportunities and providing insightful analysis that drives strategic decision-making. Your expertise in financial concepts and analytical skills will empower our team to navigate the complexities of the market. You will be responsible for conducting thorough research, analyzing financial data, and presenting your findings to stakeholders, ensuring that our investment strategies are informed and effective.

What you’ll do

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow analysis and profit & loss assessments, to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Utilize advanced tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel to create dynamic data visualizations that communicate key insights effectively.
• Engage in quantitative research and financial modeling to forecast market trends and assess potential risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data collection insights and support strategic planning initiatives.
• Prepare detailed financial reports that articulate findings clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leverage SQL and VBA for data manipulation and automation of reporting processes, enhancing efficiency in analysis.
• Stay updated on market developments using Bloomberg and other financial software to inform investment strategies.
• Support budgeting processes by providing analytical insights that align with corporate finance goals.

Basic qualifications

• Strong mathematical skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and Hyperion for financial reporting.
• Background in corporate accounting or governmental accounting.
• Familiarity with investment banking principles.
• Proven ability in business analysis and strategic planning.
