DLA Piper’s private equity team handles high-profile, cross-border transactions in fast-paced deal environments. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and support private equity and M&A transactions for strategic buyers and PE clients
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements including purchase agreements, investment documents, and disclosure schedules
• Manage closings and supervise junior associates and paralegals
• Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues related to deal execution
• Coordinate with internal teams (tax, finance, regulatory) to ensure smooth transactions
• Participate in firm development initiatives and mentoring programs

Job Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in the state of the office (NY, GA, TX, IL)
• 4–7 years of experience in Private Equity or M&A transactions at a top-tier law firm
• Experience handling end-to-end deal cycles and client management
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Prior AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred
• Cross-border deal experience preferred
• Superior academic performance preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $310,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year
