Position Overview
Join the Am law 200 firm as a Private Equity Attorney in the Professional Track program at the Boston office. This role involves engaging in transactional work across various practices, industries, and borders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the attorney primarily responsible for diligence on M&A transactions
- Support leveraged buy-out transactions in all facets
- Represent clients in daily matters, including equity grants and corporate governance
- Communicate effectively with partners, lawyers, clients, staff, and third parties
- Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence efficiently
- Analyze complex legal issues and apply legal principles
- Provide timely and accurate work product
- Be available as needed to ensure timely delivery of services
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including computer work and meetings
- Travel as required for client meetings and business development
- Foster client relationships and anticipate needs
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and staff
- Observe all firm policies and practices
Required Qualifications
- JD
- Admitted to practice in Massachusetts
- 1 - 3 years of transactional law experience
- Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience

- Salary range: $150,000 - $378,000 per year
