Private Equity Director
Usually describes a senior finance leader who oversees deal sourcing, diligence, execution, portfolio oversight, and exits, while also managing junior team members and stakeholder relationships.
Typical duties
- Originate and evaluate investment opportunities, build the pipeline, and maintain market relationships.
- Lead due diligence, financial modeling, valuation work, and deal structuring/negotiation.
- Support or lead portfolio-company monitoring, value creation, restructuring, and exit planning.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, teasers, and reports for internal committees and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise analysts, associates, and other team members.
Common requirements
- A bachelor’s degree, often with a preference for finance, economics, business, accounting, or investment management.
- Several years of private equity, investment banking, M&A, or related investing experience.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, including DCF, IRR, NPV, and comparable transaction analysis.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- CFA or another professional qualification is often preferred or seen as an advantage.
Pay: QAR156.00 - QAR375.00 per hour
