Private Equity Investment Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Private Equity Investment Manager to source, evaluate, execute, and manage private equity investments. The role will involve leading due diligence, financial modeling, investment committee materials, transaction execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. The ideal candidate has strong deal experience, sound judgment, and the ability to work across the full investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new investment opportunities through market research, networking, and sector analysis.
- Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and investment returns scenarios.
- Lead due diligence across financial, legal, commercial, and operational workstreams.
- Prepare investment papers, committee memos, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
- Support negotiation, structuring, and execution of transactions and legal documentation.
- Monitor portfolio companies and investments, track performance, and flag risks or value-creation opportunities.
- Build relationships with founders, advisors, intermediaries, and co-investors.
- Contribute to portfolio strategy, sector coverage, and overall investment process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A, transaction advisory, or a related investment role.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including DCF and LBO analysis.
- Proven experience in due diligence, deal execution, and investment analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, commercial judgment, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in one or more sectors such as TMT, healthcare, consumer, industrials, energy, infrastructure, or real estate.
- Ability to work independently and influence senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with fundraising, portfolio management, and board-level reporting.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
