About The Role

Aligned is expanding its team of expert consultants, seeking 10 Private Equity and Venture Capital professionals for immediate part-time, remote work supporting AI research . This opportunity allows you to supplement your income with well-paying freelance projects at the world's top AI research and frontier model companies.

Projects start at $60-90 USD / hour for newly approved experts, with potential to scale upwards of $150 USD / hour for top performers.

How it Works

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Native or fluent English speaking ability with confident university-level writing skills.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Analyst, Associate, or Senior Associate at a private equity firm, venture capital fund, growth equity firm, or other reputable investment firm.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including LBO models, DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
• Extensive experience building investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations that synthesize market research, financial analysis, and investment recommendations.
• Strong experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence across various industries and sectors.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial and strategic information into clear, actionable insights.
