Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Craft Cocktail Bartender to join our team at Slate. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of mixology, a flair for creating unique and memorable cocktails, and a strong desire to provide outstanding service to our clientele. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for the art of bartending.

Responsibilities:

• Craft innovative and classic cocktails with precision and creativity, adhering to Slate’s high standards.
• Engage with guests to recommend drinks and ensure a memorable customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.
• Follow all TIPS/alcohol compliance and safety standards
• Keep up to date with current cocktail trends and bring fresh ideas to the menu.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the bar team to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding supply needs.
• Assist with setup, restocking, breakdown, and bar closing duties

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender, with a focus on craft cocktails.
• Professional appearance and punctuality.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
• TIPS certification or other responsible alcohol service certification (preferred).
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• A passion for mixology, with a creative approach to cocktail creation.
