The Role

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to work independently on a variety of projects, attentive to details and able to see the “big picture.” Strong problem-solving skills and a proclivity to learn are essential. The role combines various accounting functions as well as administrative work supporting our private fund team and alternative investments.

Key Areas of Responsibility

· Form working knowledge of investment operations and cash flows

· Facilitate project acquisitions (i.e., obtain funding and coordinate with relevant parties)

· Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements

· Prepare miscellaneous business filings (CAT, Statutory Agent, Unclaimed Funds, etc.)

· Process distributions to investors per fund operating agreement

· Manage process of calling capital from investors

· Help prepare all work papers and other requests for annual GAAP audit by external auditors

· Work with external CPA firm for tax preparation

· Various projects and duties as assigned, in which attention to detail is paramount

Skills & Qualifications

  • Precision-Focused: Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, with a sharp eye for detail. Understands the importance of reviewing their work.
  • Communication: Business-level writing skills for internal and external communications to colleagues, business partners (i.e., banking), and clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent industry experience.
  • The "Fit": A high degree of professionalism, and a desire to build a long-term career within a stable, high-performance team.
  • Extra: Prior experience with digital workflow platforms (Teams, OneNote, Docusign) and state filing websites is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
