About the Role

Man O' War Defense Group is seeking an experienced Private Investigator for immediate contract work in the Houston. This is a field-based position requiring strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance, background investigations, and field research
• Document findings through written reports, photographs, and video as needed
• Maintain accurate case notes and submit timely reports to leadership
• Operate within all applicable Texas state laws and licensing requirements
• Handle assignments with discretion and confidentiality

Requirements

• Valid Texas Private Investigator license (required)
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
• Experience in surveillance, skip tracing, or related investigative work preferred

Compensation

• $30.00 per hour
• $0.69 per mile driven on assignment
• Paid per completed assignment — 1099 independent contractor position
