Private Investigator (Insurance Fraud)

As an Investigator at Origin, you will conduct comprehensive investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims. Using techniques such as surveillance, interviews, and evidence collection, you will assess the legitimacy of claims and produce clear, well-documented findings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious insurance claims
• Perform both telephonic and field investigations
• Review claim files to identify fraud indicators and emerging trends
• Obtain detailed recorded statements (phone and in-person)
• Apply effective investigative and interviewing techniques
• Collect, evaluate, and verify evidence relevant to each case
• Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy
• Document all findings clearly and in a timely manner
• Maintain professional communication with internal teams and external clients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in private investigations
• Experience with insurance fraud processes and SIU work
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to conduct detailed investigations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel 75%-100%
• Must be located in Los Angeles (or surrounding area)

Compensation

• $24–$40 per hour, based on experience
• W2

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• 40-hour work week
• Weekend work as needed
