Private Lesson Instructor (Drums and Piano)

Duties

• Develop customized lesson plans that align with each student’s skill level, goals, and interests in drums and piano
• Deliver energetic, clear, and motivating private lessons to students ranging from early childhood to adult learners
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive atmosphere conducive to learning and creativity
• Incorporate various teaching techniques including curriculum development, hands-on activities, and multimedia tools such as photography or theater elements to enhance engagement
• Track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting lesson plans accordingly
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment by applying effective behavior management strategies and understanding childhood development principles
• Collaborate with parents or guardians for younger students to ensure consistent progress and address individual needs

Experience

• Proven experience in teaching drums and/or piano
• Demonstrated classroom management skills across diverse age groups, including early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education settings
• Familiarity with working with children, teenagers, or adult learners in both private and group settings
• Experience in tutoring or working one-on-one with students to address individual learning styles and challenges
• Background in childhood development or behavior management strategies that support effective teaching environments
