Private Ranch Personal Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Personal Assistant to support daily operations on a private 200-acre ranch and hunting refuge. The ideal candidate will assist with animal care, household management, maintenance projects, and general support for the ranch owner. This role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor responsibilities in a peaceful rural setting. This is a Part-Time Position with potential to Live-In.

Key Responsibilities

Animal Care

• Provide daily care for dogs and birds, including feeding, grooming, health monitoring, and maintaining clean living areas.

• Support habitat needs and basic animal welfare to keep the ranch environment healthy and balanced.

Household Duties & Daily Living Assistance

• Assist with cooking, meal preparation, and kitchen organization.

• Perform general cleaning, laundry, and household maintenance.

• Help with shopping, errands, and grocery management.

• Provide support with grooming and other personal care needs.

• Assist with activities of daily living as needed in a respectful and professional manner.

Maintenance Projects & Ranch Operations

• Support ongoing maintenance projects including grounds work, minor repairs, fencing, trails, and infrastructure upkeep.

• Help with equipment care, tool organization, and light handyman tasks.

• Participate in basic land stewardship and property management activities.

Additional Duties

• Run errands and handle light administrative tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both people and animals.

• Work collaboratively while demonstrating reliability and discretion.

Qualifications

• Experience with animal care (dogs and birds preferred) or ranch/homestead work is a plus.

• Strong housekeeping and cooking skills.

• Ability to perform light maintenance and outdoor tasks.

• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.

• Physically capable of working indoors and outdoors.

• Valid driver’s license and clean background.

• Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Compensation & Opportunity

Competitive hourly compensation based on experience. The right candidate for this part-time position may be offered a live-in arrangement in exchange for work, covering rent and living expenses. Terms will be negotiated ahead of time.
