Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and tailored to students’ individual learning needs.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize lesson materials, track student progress, and facilitate communication with students and parents.
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects such as literacy education, math, and science, incorporating best practices in childhood development and classroom management.
  • Adapt instructional methods to support students with disabilities or special education needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
  • Employ effective behavior management techniques to promote positive classroom behavior and foster a respectful atmosphere.
  • Assess student performance regularly through formative and standardized testing, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
  • Incorporate learning technology tools and resources, including digital platforms and library services, to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating Montessori or other specialized educational approaches where applicable.
  • Support students’ social-emotional growth by working closely with them individually or in small groups during tutoring.
  • Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming assessments or projects.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience in a private school environment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple subjects such as literacy education, math, and science.
  • Experience working with children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for organizing coursework and tracking student data.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
  • Proven ability to adapt lessons for different age groups using innovative learning technology tools.
