Private Utility Locate Technician

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Locate buried underground utilities to protect and maintain facilities for customers.
• Ability to locate all fibers, electric, oil and gas, and private utilities.
• Document all site interactions, site information, and identify and map location of utilities in locate system.
• Maintain effective use of utility locate equipment.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve utility locate issues in the most effective way.
• Balancing quality, productivity, safety, and time management in all areas
• continuously improve in all areas.
• Manage workload by priority and as assigned.
• Maintain a safe work environment: this consists of wearing PPE, proper parking.
• Maintain a proper work site.
• Ability to maintain professional communication and work efficiency with contractors and team.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining efficiency and lines of communication
• Ability to take on an on-call rotation
• Must be able to travel to onsite locations surrounding the Denver-metro areas, to include northern/eastern/western Colorado.

Properly communicate problems or issues to Supervisor.

• Safe Driving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
