About Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center: Located in Montclair, NJ, our 365-bed medical center is dedicated to providing world-class healthcare in a community setting. We offer innovative treatment alternatives at specialized centers focused on imaging, women’s health, cancer care, surgery, obesity, stroke, and chronic kidney disease. Our hospital is a designated Primary Stroke Center by the NJ State Department of Health and Senior Services. It is one of the few community hospitals licensed to perform emergency and elective cardiac angioplasty.

Position Highlights:

At Mountainside Medical Center, our skilled surgeons are trained to perform various surgical procedures. Whenever possible, your doctor will perform surgeries laparoscopically or using minimally invasive techniques. Whenever possible, we also offer minimally invasive techniques and laparoscopic surgery to help reduce scarring and speed up recovery times.

• Team: Join a team of more than 5 expert surgeons supported by dedicated staff.
• Services: Offer comprehensive care, including annual physical exams, vaccinations, health screenings, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
• Location: Conveniently located in Mountainside Medical Center
• Affiliation: Part of the reputable Hackensack Meridian Health network.
• Schedule: PRN 2-3 days/ week to support surgical pt consults, surgical assistance, order entry, and d/cs

Position Requirement:

• Board Certification: Candidates should be board-certified Physician Assistant
• Medical Licensure: A valid medical license to practice in New Jersey, CDS, and DEA is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Preferred
