Key Responsibilities

Provide attentive, evidence-based nursing care to Med-Surg / IMU patients with varying acuity levels.

Perform thorough assessments, anticipate needs, and respond promptly to subtle changes in patient condition.

Administer medications and therapies with precision, safety, and a reassuring bedside manner.

Partner closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.

Offer clear, compassionate education to patients and families during vulnerable moments.

Ensure meticulous, timely documentation that reflects the quality and integrity of the care provided.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the State of Texas (or compact license in good standing).

Recent experience in Medical Surgical and/or Intermediate/Stepdown nursing strongly preferred.

Current BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS highly preferred.

Exceptional communication skills, polished professional demeanor, and strong critical-thinking ability.

Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a calm, welcoming environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited graduate nursing program with a focus on family practice.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP C or FNP BC) by a recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP or ANCC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
