PRN Therapist
Overview
The PRN therapist is expected to demonstrate expertise in: the ability to conduct group therapy, individual therapy, complete assessments, treatment planning and the utilization of SMART goals. The PRN therapist needs to be proficient in completing clinical documentation within a timely manner (48 hours).The focus of this position requires extensive knowledge in psychoeducation, crisis intervention, case management, substance abuse knowledge, appropriate referral sources, assessment completion, and treatment/discharge planning. This position will also perform other tasks related to the therapy needs of the office and the treatment needs of the patients.
This position requires an extensive knowledge of: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, zoom and an EMR system.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional treatment environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position. Operational hours of Cedar are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cedar utilizes Microsoft teams to communicate coverage needs. The PRN staff would be added to this to be able to pick up groups as needed. Management may also reach out with specific needs or requests.
Compensation: Competitive salary will be determined by experience and education.
