Public Relations Officer (PRO) – HR

Job Overview

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related procedures concerning employee visas, labor permits, immigration documentation, and company licensing. The role ensures full compliance with UAE labor laws and immigration regulations while maintaining strong relationships with relevant government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Visa & Immigration

  • Process employment visas, residence visas, visit visas, and visa cancellations
  • Handle visa renewals, status changes, and dependents’ visas
  • Coordinate medical tests, Emirates ID registration, and biometrics
  • Maintain accurate visa records and expiry tracking

Labor & MOHRE Services

  • Process work permits, labor cards, offer letters, contracts, and renewals
  • Handle quota applications, modifications, and cancellations
  • Submit documents through MOHRE systems (TAS’HEEL / MOHRE portals)
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies

Government Liaison

  • Act as company representative with government entities such as:
  • MOHRE
  • Immigration (GDRFA)
  • ICA
  • Free Zone Authorities
  • Police and Municipal offices
  • Resolve issues related to fines, rejections, and delays

Company Licensing & Documentation

  • Assist with trade license renewals and amendments
  • Process establishment cards and immigration files
  • Prepare and submit required legal and governmental documentation

Record Keeping & Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date employee and company government records
  • Track document expiries and ensure timely renewals
  • Ensure all processes meet legal and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and immigration procedures

Skills

  • Proficient in government online systems and portals
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines

Language

  • English (required)
  • Arabic (preferred)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely processing of visas and labor documents
  • Zero or minimal compliance issues or penalties
  • Accuracy of documentation and records
  • Effective coordination with government authorities

Work Location

  • Dubai - Office-based with frequent visits to government offices

Reporting Line

  • Assistant Manager – HR / HR Manager / GM

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
