PROBATIONARY FIREFIGHTER

The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position of Probationary Firefighter through June 26, 2026. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, hold a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, and be insurable. Must pass Oklahoma State Firefighters pension physical; successfully pass the Tabe test through the Pontotoc Technology Center; and successfully pass the Oklahoma State Firefighters physical agility test. An emergency response time agreement must be submitted with the application.

Medical examination along with drug screen will be administered upon offer of employment.
