HR intern handles different tasks related to recruitment. Their duties include drafting and posting new job information on various channels, which can include social media platforms and traditional job boards. They also remove expired job posts. HR interns often screen resumes, contact shortlisted candidates and schedule their interviews. For technical job roles, interns may also conduct assessments to find the best candidate. Interns can earn such responsibilities after assisting HR professionals with talent acquisition through tasks such as verifying applicants' supporting data. After completing the above tasks, HR interns conduct telephone interviews and schedule subsequent rounds for the candidate with the department head and HR manager. When the employer selects candidates for the job, interns also draft and send selection emails and offer letters to the chosen candidates.
