Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing wax processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize workflows.
  • Conduct experiments and data analysis to validate process changes and improvements.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and reports on process performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and training to injection and assembly staff on new processes and equipment.
  • Maintain and improve our die maintenance program; also perform die maintenance as needed
  • Ensure wax injection equipment function and output are according to specifications
  • Act as a resource for employees to resolve operational issues during the shift
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, related field, or relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in process engineering or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment with experience in the lost wax process.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
