  • Develop and implement new processes for both traditional and non-traditional machining of hard and brittle materials.
  • Research, design, and test manufacturing methods, tooling, and fixtures using AutoCAD and other design tools with GD&T.
  • Lead process control initiatives using SPC, root cause analysis, and statistical techniques to ensure repeatability and consistency.
  • Collaborate across teams and with vendors to evaluate new technologies, materials, and equipment that improve throughput and yield.
  • Analyze process data and present findings to a range of audiences, from operators to leadership.
  • Support company quality goals by applying Quality Management System procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects that align with Bullen’s values of Excellence, Integrity, Humility, and Teamwork.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or precision machining.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining, PLCs, pneumatics, and fluid systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related software tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, apply mathematical and engineering principles, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Experience with SPC, process audits, and industrial engineering tools such as time studies and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach complex problems with curiosity and a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Commitment to teamwork, open communication, and shared success across departments.
  • Dedication to staying current with emerging technologies and applying continuous improvement principles.
  • Consistent display of Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence in all professional interactions.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in aerospace materials and manufacturing.
  • A collaborative culture that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • A company that invests in your growth and professional development.
