Crane Currency has an immediate opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience in our Manufacturing Engineering department. This role is full time, onsite, and is based out of Alpharetta, Georgia.

How you will make an impact:

Our program is designed to give you the chance to make a true impact on the business. You will have a direct effect by means of the following projects:

  • Implement and support process changes and monitor their impact

  • Participate in process validation and qualification activities

  • Clearly define and manage key projects to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality and production yields

  • Participate in developing core quality tools such as FMEAs, MSAs Control Plans Statistical Process Control.


Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

  • You must currently be enrolled in a degree program with an accredited school to be eligible for consideration; pursuing a Batchelder's degree in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Basic knowledge of Process Engineering principles and methodologies

  • Minitab and Excel experience essential

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles

Must be a United States Citizen with an ability to demonstrate suitability for a Position of Public Trust consistent with our U.S. government contract.

Preferred:

  • Work experience in Manufacturing a plus
