- Set the team’s strategic direction for process development, NPI readiness, and production scalability.
- Oversee creation and approval of Customer Requirement Documents (CRDs), assembly sequences, and process documentation.
- Ensure pilot builds and NPIs are executed successfully, with robust validation of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Partner with headquarters R&D and PM teams to resolve manufacturability issues and influence design-for-manufacturing standards.
- Monitor production performance across lines; lead the team in conducting yield analysis, daily audits, and failure investigations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction, cycle-time optimization, and process automation.
- Oversee tooling and equipment management, ensuring proper lifecycle planning, preventive maintenance, and spare part readiness.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements, Underwriter Laboratories (UL) standards, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Collaborate with HR, Facilities, and Operations on manpower, space planning, and resource allocation to support production needs.
- Represent the Process Engineering team in cross-functional and executive meetings, communicating project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence within the team.
