We’re looking for a process professional to elevate production at our sulphur facility in Anacortes, WA—someone who thrives on analytics, collaboration, and rigorous safety leadership.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Reports to: Operations Manager
Compensation: $95,000-105,000 + bonus, + benefits (salaried, exempt)

- Lead and support implementation of processing methods and controls to meet quality and output targets safely and cost-effectively (5%).
- Define, measure, and report reliability metrics that reflect the effectiveness of operations (10%).
- Create process engineering designs, calculations, and comprehensive reports for capital and optimization projects (35%).
- Support planned shutdowns by conducting inspections and troubleshooting emergent issues (10%).
- Advance the US site P&ID program (10%).
- Join cross-functional project teams and audits to maintain compliance with internal standards and external regulations (15%).
- Act as a corporate resource for Good Engineering Practices and proper materials selection (5%).
- Invest in ongoing training and development (10%).
- Coordinate Process Safety Management sitewide, including HAZ-OPS facilitation, MOC execution, and PHA planning and follow-through.
- BS in Chemical Engineering (accredited) with 0–3 years in process engineering/design.
- Travel up to 10% (mostly U.S.; some Canada possible).
- Depth in process design, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Knowledge of PSM elements and OSHA PSM practices to initiate/monitor/audit site safety.
- Track record of prioritizing employee health and safety.
- Analytical rigor and strong problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration skills across operations, maintenance, and EHS.
- Experience with process controls, PLCs, and DCS systems.
