Machine Responsible RBP2
Duties and Responsibilities

Assume full ownership of assigned manufacturing line(s), including safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance

Ensure equipment is operated in accordance with safety standards, work instructions, and company policies
-
Monitor machine performance and production output to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
-
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate mechanical, electrical, or process issues impacting line performance
-
Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and line readiness
-
Perform changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and product transitions per standard operating procedures
-
Ensure product quality standards are met by conducting in-process checks and responding to quality issues
-
Document production data, downtime, scrap, and corrective actions accurately and in a timely manner
-
Train and support operators on proper machine operation, safety expectations, and standard work
-
Communicate effectively with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Leadership to align operational priorities

Enforce housekeeping and 5S standards within the assigned work area

Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to safety, quality, or equipment issues

Support new product introductions, trials, and process validations as required

Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations
Education and Experience
-
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automated industrial manufacturing environment. Must have hands-on experience with equipment commonly found in automated manufacturing equipment i.e. presence sensors, transducers, servo motors.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with HMI controlled manufacturing equipment.

Experience operating, setting up, or leading production equipment or manufacturing lines

Basic experience with manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP, MES, or production tracking systems) preferred
