Position – Procurement Accountant

The Procurement Accountant position is classified as supporting an administrative support department for the Regional Care Group network. The incumbent hired will represent Regional Care Group network on official communications.

Position Description:

The Procurement Accountant works in the Purchasing Department, is able to process all aspects related to the purchasing process, provides technical assistance to the Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Assistants, and completes projects assigned to the department.

Schedule:

M-F 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm fully in office

Pay:

$41,764.02 - $54,293.23

Essential Functions:

• Inventory management – add/delete items, perform pricing comparisons, and disburse inventory
• Vendor relations – maintain relationships, follow up on requests, and ensure timely processing
• Admin tasks – generate reports, type and file requisitions, process mail and maintain logs
• Verify orders that are received from various departments
• Maintain paperwork
• Assist/generate end-of-month reports

Requirements:

• BA in Accounting
• 2 years of experience working in an office environment as a purchasing agent, bookkeeper, and/or office manager
