Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Analyst to join our team.

This role will focus on procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and demand planning, utilizing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) principles to optimize supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in supplier negotiations, and the ability to drive cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Purchasing:

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to optimize costs and improve supplier relationships.
  • Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreements and quality standards.

S&OP & Inventory Management:

  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by analyzing demand forecasts and aligning supply with business needs.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels, reducing excess stock while preventing shortages.
  • Develop and track key inventory metrics, including turnover rates and stock accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, procurement/finance) to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve procurement, inventory, and demand planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory efficiency.
  • Identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain analysis.
  • Strong understanding of S&OP processes and demand planning.
  • Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
