Job Description
GI is looking for a Inside Sales and Procurement Associate. The candidate will be an integral part of our closely-knit team and will be responsible for all sourcing and purchasing of equipments and products for the company across the world.
Key responsibilities
• Analyse technical data and specifications of the equipment and supplies requirements
• Analyse all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
• Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies and supplier preferencing study
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product
• Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets
• Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy
• Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement
• You may be required to work in time-zone to correspond with our customers in the United States.
Required skills and attributes
• Able to analyse technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
• High-level verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs
• Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage the supply chain to the customer
• This job role requires close coordination with our offices in Dubai and the United States and communication skills are an integral part
Preferred Qualifications
• BBA / MBA / Degree in logistics or supply chain management / BBM
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical fields, capable of understanding customer s technical requirements
• Preferred 1 years of relevant experience as Sales and Purchase coordinator
