MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Purchasing Agent, you will work closely with the Project Manager on multiple hotel projects: including new developments, renovations, pre-openings, and ongoing operations. This is a hands-on, highly versatile role that touches every part of hotel operations and construction support.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for materials and supplies needed for construction projects.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand material requirements for upcoming projects.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
• Highly reliable, autonomous, and detail-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Able to take initiative and anticipate needs without constant supervision.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – essential for communicating with U.S.-based partners.
• Comfortable with digital tools (Google Drive, Excel, ChatGPT.
• Knowledge or interest in construction or renovation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Full training will be provided for all tasks listed above.
• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
• Compensation based on experience, range from $17 to $20 per hour.
