
Procurement Assistant (ASA Microfinance Bank Pakistan Limited)
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in end-to-end procurement process including PR to PO cycle

Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and obtain quotations from vendors
-
Support comparative analysis and bid evaluation documentation
-
Coordinate with vendors for pricing, delivery, and documentation
-
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor database
-
Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and invoice submissions
-
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements
-
Assist in vendor onboarding and performance tracking
-
Support procurement planning and reporting activities
-
Coordinate with internal departments for timely fulfillment of requirements
-
Any other task assigned by Head of Procurement
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
-
Professional certification in Procurement/Supply Chain (preferred, e.g., CIPS)
Experience & Skills
-
1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support
-
Experience in banking or financial institutions preferred
-
Basic understanding of procurement processes, documentation, and vendor management
-
Strong analytical and documentation skills
-
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems
-
Effective coordination and follow-up abilities
-
High attention to detail with a compliance-focused mindset
-
Good communication skills with the ability to support negotiations
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Demonstrates teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
