Procurement Assistant (ASA Microfinance Bank Pakistan Limited)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in end-to-end procurement process including PR to PO cycle
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and obtain quotations from vendors
  • Support comparative analysis and bid evaluation documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors for pricing, delivery, and documentation
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor database
  • Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and invoice submissions
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements
  • Assist in vendor onboarding and performance tracking
  • Support procurement planning and reporting activities
  • Coordinate with internal departments for timely fulfillment of requirements
  • Any other task assigned by Head of Procurement


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Professional certification in Procurement/Supply Chain (preferred, e.g., CIPS)


Experience & Skills


  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support
  • Experience in banking or financial institutions preferred
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes, documentation, and vendor management
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems
  • Effective coordination and follow-up abilities
  • High attention to detail with a compliance-focused mindset
  • Good communication skills with the ability to support negotiations
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
