Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support purchasing operations, vendor coordination, and inventory control. The role ensures timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining proper documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
- Maintain procurement records, invoices, and contracts
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing, availability, and lead times
- Support inventory monitoring and stock reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
- Assist in vendor evaluation and comparison reports
- Coordinate with finance and stores departments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant field preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (fresh candidates may apply)
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
