We are seeking an experienced
Indirect Procurement Assistant Manager
to support our Port and Terminal operations.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories, ensuring operational continuity cost optimization, supplier performance and compliance across the organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Organize demands of customers in accordance with the company’s procurement procedures

Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories and investments including maintenance services, facility management, fleet services, utilities, professional services and operational support contracts.

Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFQ, RFP and tenders

Lead commercial negotiations and contract management with suppliers

Identify and deliver cost-saving and value creation opportunities

Manage supplier performance through KPI’s and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance and risk management framewoks

Support procurement transformation digitalization initiatives where applicable

Conduct spend analysis and market assessments to identify procurement opportunities and risks

Research alternative suppliers through meetings and field visits
QUALIFICATIONS:

University graduate preferably in faculty of Engineering, Economics or related field

Minimum 7 years of experience in indirect procurement or category management

Fluent in English both written and spoken

Advanced analytical and reporting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Advanced level of MS Office Programs is required

Experience in ERP systems such as SAP
-
Completed military obligation for male candidates
