Key Responsibilities

Source, solicit, and purchase construction-phase equipment, materials, and bulk commodities as directed by the project team

Coordinate with engineering and construction personnel to confirm specifications, lead times, and delivery requirements prior to purchasing

Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs); collect and organize vendor responses for client review and award decisions

Support bid tabulation, scope leveling, and commercial review in coordination with client project leads

Manage purchase orders from issuance through delivery confirmation, including expediting as needed to protect the project schedule

Assist with vendor identification and qualification in support of client's approved vendor list development

Track and report on open POs, delivery schedules, and budget commitments on a cadence directed by client's construction management

Maintain documentation of vendor communications, bid submissions, and award justifications per client's project requirements

Expedite open purchase orders and proactively communicate delivery status and schedule risks to client's construction management

Comply with all client's procurement policies, approval workflows, and project controls requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles supporting construction or industrial projects

Demonstrated experience issuing and managing purchase orders, RFPs, and RFQs for equipment and materials in a construction environment

Solid working knowledge of vendor qualification processes, bid tabulation, and scope leveling in support of construction procurement

Ability to coordinate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to confirm technical specifications and delivery requirements

Previous data center or mission-critical construction experience preferred; heavy industrial background considered
