KDV Label is looking for a full-time Procurement Director to join our growing team. This role will have a focus on supplier strategies, supplier measurement, inventory strategies and day-to-day buying execution. DUTIES

In this role, you won’t just manage a supply chain, you’ll shape it. You’ll lead sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and drive improvements that directly impact cost, quality, and speed. You’ll have the freedom to bring new ideas, introduce better processes, and influence decisions that matter.

  • Purchase raw materials, components and supplies for label production.
  • Develop & own supplier scorecards to evaluate on quality, pricing, delivery and other relevant metrics.
  • Work with underperforming suppliers on compliance.
  • Develop, negotiate, and execute agreements with suppliers that provide best-in-class services.
  • Develop comprehensive requests for proposals, analysis and reporting of benchmarking information.
  • Ensure that procurement is in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws related to procurement practices and in accordance with standard practices and company policies.
  • Evaluate current and new suppliers to develop and improve service levels in search of continuous improvement regarding total cost and efficiency.
  • Negotiate Master Supply Agreements (including pricing, MOQ, terms, IP, and other relevant legal issues) to obtain the maximum value for each dollar of expenditure and focus on reaching high inventory turns.
  • Participate and/or lead cross-functional teams related to quality, price, inventories and availability of materials.
  • Participate in supplier quality audits for conformance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, etc.) to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Assist in monitoring, managing, reconciling inventory levels and transactions for accuracy, establishing responsible, proactive purchasing practices.
  • Optimize the supply chain of goods and services from our suppliers through to our customers by focusing on lead time reduction.
  • Develop and maintain accurate purchasing and payment records.
  • Lead discrepancy resolution to support Operations and Accounting.
  • Assist in purchase requests for general office supplies or other miscellaneous company needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 8+ years of progressive procurement experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or operations management; or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.
  • Manufacturing background preferred.
  • Has curiosity and is not afraid to challenge status quo or be inquisitive — asks clarifying questions.
  • Willingness to spend time in operations to understand the business.

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional and respectful relationships with vendors, team members, and employees across the organization.
