Procurement Engineer

Supplier Identification and Management: Finding, evaluating, and developing relationships with potential suppliers based on technical specifications, cost, quality, and delivery capabilities. Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiating pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other contractual elements with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company. Technical Requirement Analysis: Working with engineering teams to understand and define the technical specifications of the materials and equipment needed for projects. Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing supplier performance to ensure quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost objectives are met. Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential supply chain risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, staying informed about market trends and supplier capabilities. Process Optimization: Developing and implementing strategies to improve procurement processes, achieve cost savings, and ensure efficient operations. Compliance: Ensuring that all procurement transactions comply with relevant commercial, legal, and technical standards and company procedures. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate procurement records, managing purchase orders, and generating performance reports for management.
