Procurement Engineer

1. Manage end-to-end procurement processes for electronic components

(active, passive, PCBs) including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, PO processing , obtaining necessary management approval, materials follow-up and ensuring timely delivery.

2. Establish strong relationships with vendors and negotiate payment / credit terms and pricing to ensure cost efficiency and product quality.

3. Responsible for creating the shortage list against the Production plan for all components and Raw materials involved in electronics products.

4. Conduct market research to Identifying and developing a dedicated and alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and reduction in delivery time.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including projects, technical, product development R&D, Sales Teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.

6. Resolve quality issues of vendor and get corrective action report on same.

7. Utilize ERP (Zoho) systems for tracking and managing procurement activities, improving process efficiency.

8. Coordinate with finance team to release the vendor payments as per terms and conditions agreed.

9. Logistics: Manage logistics & transportation vendors for material delivery at Project Sites directly / from Stores to Sites.

10. Import knowledge is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

2. 2–4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.

3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

4. Knowledge of market trends, supply chain management, and cost analysis.

5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
