Procurement Engineer

1. JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to support our project department in all procurement activities related to construction projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in construction procurement and contract administration and be well-versed in Oracle-based PR/PO processing. Strong command over Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential for this role.

2. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with the project team to identify procurement needs and ensure timely sourcing of materials, equipment, and services.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, from RFQ preparation to bid evaluation, purchase order creation, and delivery follow-up.
• Administer and review contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in Oracle ERP system.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation in alignment with company policies and audit requirements.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities and pricing.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure material quality, timely delivery, and compliance with contractual terms.
• Support in claims, variation orders, and change management related to procurement packages.
• Prepare and maintain procurement logs, reports, and trackers using Microsoft Excel.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors via Outlook and other communication tools.

3. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration from a reputed university.

4. EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5* years* of relevant experience in construction procurement and contract administration.
