Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage and execute all procurement activities of the company, particularly for energy and BESS projects. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier management skills, advanced commercial awareness, and the ability to lead procurement operations end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all procurement activities of the company
• Perform product price analysis and comparative cost evaluations
• Negotiate and establish new supplier contracts; review and manage existing supplier agreements
• Track invoices for purchased products and ensure timely and accurate receipt
• Identify supplier-related issues and provide effective solutions
• Research, evaluate, and contract alternative suppliers
• Prepare and present required procurement reports to management
• Manage and coordinate the procurement team reporting directly to the position
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits
• Prepare contracts and technical/commercial specifications when required
• Carry out supplier and market research
• Review and negotiate payment terms and commercial conditions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an Engineering Faculty
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in procurement roles
• Proven experience in energy sector projects (power, renewables, BESS, or industrial infrastructure preferred)
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of supplier and brand management, evaluation, and auditing
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage teams and multiple procurement processes simultaneously
• Actively able to drive
• Resident in Ankara or willing to relocate
