Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with a strong background in the UAE construction sector. You will be responsible for the technical evaluation of materials, sourcing reliable sub-contractors, and ensuring all project requirements are met within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to identify material requirements.
• Prepare and manage Request for Quotations (RFQs) and compare competitive bids.
• Perform technical and commercial bid evaluations for civil, MEP, and finishing materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with local and international suppliers.
• Coordinate with the Site Engineering team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain an updated database of approved vendors and sub-contractors in the UAE.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of procurement experience specifically within a UAE-based construction company.
• Skills: Proficiency in ERP software (Oracle/SAP) and advanced MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE market rates and material standards.
