Procurement Engineer - Civil

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer with experience in procuring materials for civil utility work. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end procurement process, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for civil utility projects.
• Maintain and expand a strong supplier network to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to forecast material requirements.
• Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and UAE regulations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in civil utility projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local suppliers and an established supplier network.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
