Procurement Engineer – E&I

Euro Mechanical is looking for a Procurement Engineer – E&I.

The Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing engineering materials, equipment, and services required for projects and operations. The role ensures technical compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in line with project schedules and company policies.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the vendor database, ensuring visibility of approved products/services and supporting the development of local (ICV-certified) and international vendors with local presence.
• Manage vendor relationships across business units, assisting in supplier evaluation and driving process improvement initiatives.
• Source and negotiate required products/services, prepare bid analyses, process purchase orders, and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Use technical knowledge (Layouts, P&ID, Plot Plans, GA and Isometric drawings) to ensure materials and services meet end-user and project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Warehouse, Project Managers and Clients on forecasts, discrepancies, technical clarifications, and overall project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas industry standards, safety, quality control, and HSE, acting as a focal point for employees on operational procurement matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in UAE preferably in oil and gas sector.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment, Specifications, industry standards, International Standards etc.
