Job Summary

Redporch Nest Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Engineer (Female) to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of construction materials and services. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, and quality compliance in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and services.

Identify and evaluate vendors, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and ensure approvals as per company policy.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and stores for material requirements.

Monitor delivery schedules and ensure materials reach sites on time.

Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and inventory reports.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and contractual terms.

Track market trends, pricing, and availability of materials.

Handle vendor performance evaluation and resolve supply-related issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

1–3 years of experience in procurement or material management (construction industry preferred).

Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and local market in Kerala.

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and documentation.

Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Cost control and budgeting knowledge.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
