Job description:

Job Title: Procurement Engineer – Interior

Responsible for sourcing interior materials, identifying new vendors, managing procurement documentation, and ensuring timely, cost-effective supply of materials in line with design and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers for interior fit-out materials.

Source and procure materials such as finishes, furniture, fixtures, joinery, lighting, flooring, and accessories.

Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and project teams to understand material specifications.

Prepare and manage material submittals, samples, technical datasheets, BOQs, and purchase orders.

Conduct price comparisons, negotiations, and cost control to meet project budgets.

Track material approvals, lead times, deliveries, and site requirements.

Ensure materials meet quality standards, specifications, and client requirements.

Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor databases.

Resolve material shortages, delays, or quality issues promptly.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field.

Experience in interior fit-out / architectural projects.

Strong knowledge of interior materials and market suppliers.

Good negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.

Proficient in MS Excel and procurement reporting.
