Job Title: Procurement Engineer-Joinery

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and material submittals related to joinery and interior fit-out works.
• Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate supplier quotations technically and commercially.
• Source joinery materials including MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, hardware, glass, metal accessories, adhesives, and finishing materials.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare comparison sheets and procurement reports for management approval.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and site teams to ensure material compliance and timely delivery.
• Track orders and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with project timelines and budgets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with approved suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to factories and project sites.
• Resolve procurement-related issues including delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
• Maintain procurement documentation, purchase orders, invoices, and material records.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and value engineering proposals.
• Ensure all procured materials meet project quality standards and approved specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in UAE in procurement for joinery, woodworking, fit-out, or interior contracting companies
