Procurement Engineer — Luxury Hospitality (KSA)

A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for a flagship luxury hospitality development in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement project procurement plans in line with master schedule and project budget.

* Prepare tender documents, RFQs, technical and commercial comparisons, and recommendation reports.

* Source, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.

* Negotiate contracts, terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.

* Manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and long‐lead items.

* Coordinate with engineering, planning, and construction teams to align procurement with site requirements.

* Monitor vendor performance, factory inspections, and material submittal approvals.

* Track procurement progress and prepare reports for senior management.

* Ensure compliance with project specifications, FIDIC requirements, and company procedures.

* Mitigate procurement risks related to lead time, logistics, and market fluctuations.

Qualifications

* 10+ years total experience in procurement / construction.

* 5+ years experience on large-scale or luxury hospitality projects.

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

* Proven experience handling procurement for projects ≥ SAR 300M.

* Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers and subcontractor markets.

* Experience with contracts, commercial evaluations, and negotiation.

* Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms.

* Familiarity with FIDIC and Saudi market regulations is preferred.

* Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

* Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
