Job Description: Senior Rate Enquiry Executive– Vocational
Position: Senior Rate Enquiry – Vocational
Department: Procurement / Rate Acquisition
Location: NSP
Reporting To: Senior Manager – Rate Acquisition / Procurement Head
Role Overview:
The Senior Rate Enquiry – Vocational will be responsible for identifying new vendors, collecting and analysing quotations, maintaining project-wise rate data, tracking vendor inward status, and supporting the Senior Manager – Rate Acquisition with timely and accurate information. The role focuses on vocational category procurement, vendor coordination, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordination with Senior Manager
Coordinate closely with Senior Manager – Rate Acquisition for project requirements.
Identify items not available in the existing vendor pool and propose sourcing alternatives.
Ensure accurate identification of new items for rate enquiry and sourcing.
2. NVD Team Vendor Request – Vocational
Raise New Vendor Development (NVD) requests for vocational items on time.
Share complete specifications, BOQs, and project details with the NVD team.
Track approval and onboarding status of new vendors.
3. Vendor Communication
Communicate with new and existing vendors for rate enquiries and clarifications.
Collect initial quotations from new vendors within defined timelines.
Ensure quotations meet technical and commercial requirements.
4. Data Sharing
Share vendor quotations, comparison details, and observations with the Senior Manager – Rate Acquisition on time.
Maintain transparency and accuracy in data shared for decision-making.
5. Project Data Sheet Maintenance
Prepare and maintain project-wise / vertical-wise data sheets.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updates of rates, quantities, and vendor details.
Support project costing and approval processes.
6. Vendor Inward Status Tracking
Track vendor dispatch and inward status for vocational materials.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to obtain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) status.
Update inward and GRN status regularly and share with stakeholders.
7. VRM Role Execution (Vendor Relationship Management)
Maintain healthy relationships with vendors through regular calls and follow-ups.
Ensure vendor responsiveness and commitment to timelines.
Act as a single point of contact for rate enquiry-related vendor coordination.
8. Reporting
Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports related to:
Vendor quotations
Project-wise rate status
Inward and GRN status
Ensure data consistency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,392.56 - ₹28,000.00 per month
