Job Title: Procurement Executive/ Purchasing Executive

Job Summary:
The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and subcontracting services to support project execution. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality compliance, timely delivery, and adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Sourcing:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and conduct techno-commercial analysis.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved budgets and specifications.
- Ensure procurement aligns with BOQ (Bill of Quantities), drawings, and project timelines.
2. Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain an approved vendor database.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations (quality, cost, delivery compliance).
- Build strategic supplier relationships for long-term cost optimization.
- Resolve disputes related to pricing, quality, or delivery delays.
3. Cost Control & Budget Compliance:
- Monitor material costs and market price trends.
- Ensure procurement within approved project budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative sourcing or value engineering.
4. Coordination & Documentation:
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS, and Finance teams.
- Track material deliveries and ensure timely supply to sites.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and audit requirements.
5. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company standards.
- Monitor adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Mitigate supply chain risks affecting project schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration or related field.
- 3–7 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, MEP items, finishing materials, etc.).
- Familiarity with BOQs, tendering processes, and contract documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Cost analysis and budgeting capability.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP, Oracle ERP).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under tight project deadlines.
- On-time delivery rate.
- Vendor performance ratings.
- Compliance with audit and documentation standards
- Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects (Real Estate Preferable).
- Knowledge of local construction supplier markets.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lahore: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
