Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Head to lead and manage our end-to-end purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in vendor management, cost optimization, procurement planning, and a solid background in ERP implementation related to purchase and supply chain modules. This role requires excellent leadership skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to streamline procurement processes through technology-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Purchasing Management
- Lead the entire procurement function, including sourcing, purchasing, negotiation, and vendor development.
- Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate vendors, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the business.
ERP Implementation & Process Optimization
- Lead and oversee the implementation of ERP systems for purchase and supply chain modules.
- Map current procurement workflows and develop improved processes aligned with ERP capabilities.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors, IT teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Conduct training sessions for teams to ensure effective ERP usage and data accuracy.
- Monitor system performance and handle troubleshooting or upgrades as needed.
Vendor & Cost Management
- Negotiate best pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Develop cost-control strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for better sourcing.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor the procurement team to improve performance and productivity.
- Set KPIs for the department and ensure regular performance reviews.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and transparency.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments as required.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain leadership roles.
- Strong experience in ERP implementation, especially in purchase/procurement modules (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / Tally Prime ERP or similar).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and inventory management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

Pay: ₹8,922.32 - ₹46,812.58 per month
